WI Dems' Budget Saves Money and Unions

The Democrats in the Wisconsin Senate have introduced a bill similar to the bill introduced by the Democrats in the Assembly which fixes our budget's fiscal issues, keeps collective bargaining rights for public employees, and saves more money than Walker's plan. The previous alternative budget repair bill failed in the Assembly a few weeks ago. So here's to hoping the Republicans have been paying attention now. The alternative bill is proof that the collective bargaining rights have no effect on the budget, but it also shows where the Republicans' priorities are.

Here's the press release, a memo on the bill, and the alternative bill.
